Here's the gist: we don't accept any insurance, and as a result you save money. Become a member of our practice for a low monthly fee, and get unlimited office visits, better prices on prescription medication, direct access to your provider via text/call/video through a member only phone number and a whole lot more. If you don't have insurance or if you are on a high-deductible health plan (HDHP) or health share, then Summit Direct Health is perfect for you! We're a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice. DPC is a unique approach to healthcare and our patients love it. So, how is it different?
Did you know that most Primary Care Providers have between 2,500-3,500 patients? We limit our practice to under 1,000 patients total. That means that Chad spends more time with you when you need him. Plus, when he is not actively seeing a patient, he is able to help coordinate your care and research your treatments.
Summit Direct Health does not bill any insurance plans so you won’t have a middle-man in your primary care. Decisions about your healthcare will be made by you and Chad without the impersonal management that comes from third-party payers. Instead, patients pay a monthly membership fee which can save money and covers excellent treatment. Give it a try, and you’ll quickly see for yourself the value of this approach!

Chad is a respected and reliable member of the Tooele County medical community. With a Master of Science from ATSU and 19 years of varied medical experience, Chad's expertise provides a sense of assurance to his patients.
His multifaceted career spanning Family Practice, Urology, and Orthopedic Surgery, uniquely positions him to understand the connection between physical health and mental wellness. Chad's professional journey began with a Bachelor's in Sports Medicine from BYU, where he contributed to the care of the 2002 national champion men's volleyball team.
Chad and his amazing wife Jen are proud parents to six wonderful daughters and one son-in-law. Celebrating nearly 25 years of marriage, they have called Stansbury Park home for two decades.
Our fees are simple and transparent, as they should be. No hidden fees or complex invoicing. You'll know exactly what you're paying and exactly what you're getting.

We offer one-time visits.
Membership fees are charged per calendar month, which starts on the day you sign up. Typically, a doctor's appointment costs about $150 per visit so you actually pay less and get more with your Summit Health membership ($95 monthly for as many visits as needed).
